Winners of Best Rock Band at the 2018 Mississauga Music Awards, The Jailbirds have a sound that’s equally influenced by classic rock, grunge, and modern rock, and their debut EP The Black River has drawn comparisons to Black Sabbath, Soundgarden, Royal Blood, and Alter Bridge, among others. Signed with Golden Robot Records, The Jailbirds have been extensively touring across Canada in support of The Black River, and their April 3rd performance at Royal City Studios is their only currently scheduled stop in Guelph.
